Artist Statement
To create an educational balance between what a young artist sees and observes in the natural landscape of Quartz Mountain, the figurative studies and the observations of familiar objects, and what is shared from past educational formal values in art. A dance between what one sees and what one knows, an emersion in form and content. Most of all to develop a private relationship with the earth elements and forces which are the spirit of the sense of place of Quartz Mountain. |
