Artist Statement
To a Californian used to working in the natural country, the site of the Quartz Mountain workshop remains an exceptional environment. This remembrance is enlivened many years later by the memory of an intense and vivid curiosity on the part of many Oklahoma students. The insistence of their inquiry into the vision and technical mastery of photography stays in my mind even today. It makes me wish your part of Oklahoma were right next-door. |
