The Tour de Quartz is a selection of artwork created by Oklahoma high school students during the 2017 Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain (OSAI). During their two-week residency at Quartz Mountain, students are immersed in one of eight artistic disciplines and taught by nationally renowned artists. Internationally exhibited printmaker Lenore Thomas taught the drawing and painting students. David Emitt Adams, expert in historical photographic methods, led the photography students.

Each student artist is represented by one piece of artwork in the Tour de Quartz, which is exhibited at some of the state’s finest institutions.
