This page will be continuously updated as we monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and make programmatic decisions leading up to OSAI 2020.
Dear OSAI 2020 Students, Family, Faculty and Staff,
We hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. We understand you are eagerly awaiting news about whether we will be able to hold the 2020 Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain. With OSAI still more than ten weeks away, we are going to continue to monitor the situation before making a final determination. Our board of directors will meet on Tuesday, April 7, and we will assess all of our options at that meeting.
In the meantime, our staff is working remotely and looking very closely at contingency plans, including options for virtual programming. Online workshops and group projects present an opportunity to engage and create with our family of OSAI alumni and other artists during this time. The online classroom format may also be a viable learning option if we are unable to assemble at Quartz Mountain this summer. Keep an eye on your email inbox and follow us @oaiquartz on social media for those details.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Stay well and take good care.
