News & Community
Dear Friends,
It is with great reluctance that we have decided to move the 2020 Oklahoma Fall Arts Institute workshops to an online format. While we’d hoped to convene at Quartz Mountain this fall, we simply do not believe we can do so safely at this time.
With educators facing so much uncertainty in teaching formats and schedules during the upcoming school year, our goal is to provide a flexible experience that will allow educators and other artists to engage online through a variety of workshop opportunities. As always, public educators will be eligible for full scholarships to participate in OFAI workshops and will receive professional development credits upon completion. We will also continue to offer a variety of workshops that will appeal to other community artists seeking to deepen their skills in the literary, visual and performing arts. As many of you know, each year we have long waitlists for our workshops, and we hope that this new format will allow us to serve even more of our dedicated OFAI family.
Keep an eye on your email inbox and follow us @oaiquartz on social media to stay tuned for more details. And, as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
With best wishes,
Julie Cohen
