Join Us for the OAI Alumni Hall of Fame and 40th Anniversary Celebration!

October 21, 2016

Over the last forty years, the Oklahoma Arts Institute (OAI) has nurtured talent and inspired a lifelong passion for the arts in some of Oklahoma’s most gifted artists. The Summer and Fall Arts Institutes at Quartz Mountain have had a profound impact on thousands of talented high school students and dedicated educators from every reach of our state.

Many of our alumni have gone on to enjoy successful artistic careers, and we think it's high time we acknowledge their accomplishments! We hope you will join us for our inaugural OAI Alumni Hall of Fame and 40th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City

Hosted by OSAI parent and award-winning newscaster Linda Cavanaugh, the luncheon will honor: Yolanda Kondonassis, Timothy Long, Tim Blake Nelson, and Troy Word. These honorees represent the breadth of Oklahoma talent whose successful careers took flight after their participation in the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain.

The event will not only recognize OAI's legacy and impact, but will also serve to raise awareness and funds in conjunction with OAI's 40th Anniversary Comprehensive Campaign to ensure that OAI will continue to thrive as one of the state’s most important cultural institutions.

Sponsorships for the event are available and include tickets to the celebration and an invitation to VIP Day at the 2017 Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain.
