News & Community
Each year, we hire 29 special individuals to work as counselors to our students at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. Counselors play a crucial role in nurturing OSAI students through their two weeks at Quartz Mountain and, together with faculty and staff, help create a supportive environment charged with artistic energy to encourage artistic exploration, community and personal growth among all students.
In addition to accounting for the whereabouts and safety of their assigned students, counselors conduct nightly housing meetings to pass along announcements and information about upcoming activities during OSAI. Counselors also serve in a variety of roles during the day such as classroom liaisons, videographers, technical theatre crew, PR and office assistants, and more.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older by June 9, 2020. Visit our Job Openings page to read about counselor job descriptions and to complete an application.
